Clifford John Hocke passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at the age of 79 after many months of illness.



Beloved husband of 28 years to Linda Tripp Hocke of Metairie, Louisiana. Preceded in death by first wife, Marilyn Lagasse Hocke.



Son of the late William J. Hocke and Margaret Mahl Hocke.



Father of Joseph R. Breaux.



Brother of the late William F. Hocke (Ruby), Louis J. Hocke (Gloria), and Gertrude H. Lingoni (Victor).



He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.



Clifford was an employee of Jon-Mar Cabinet Works, Ipik Doors, Heavy Duty Parts, and Howard Auto Parts.



He was a lifetime member of NRA, St. Bernard Gun and Rifle Range, and a proud member of AARP Chapter 4273.



He enjoyed hunting and maintaining his guns and reloading ammo. He also became known as “Pokie”, created by his nephew Andrew Pitari. In his younger days, he enjoyed spending time with the Hocke Clan Gang, rabbit hunting, and crawfishing.



If there ever was a man that God created that was kind, loving, patient, thoughtful, and never-ending good spirit, it would be a man that we know as “Pokie”.



A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 30, 2017at 1 PM in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans. Visitation will begin at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
