Clint passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018.

Clint was a resident of Covington, Georgia at the time of passing.

Mr. Dobbs was a veteran of the United States Army, having valiantly served from 1951-1953, during the Korean War.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 64 years, Peggy (Clarke) Dobbs; daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Bob Hurt of Covington; son, Jerry Clint Dobbs of Longview, TX; grandchildren, Courtney and Brett Israel, Wesley and Liz Hurt, Bradley Hurt, Nick Dobbs, Cody Dobbs and Hayley Dobbs; great-grandchildren, Marlowe Israel and Branson Dobbs; niece, Patsy Dobbs Terrell and nephew, Johnnie Dobbs, Jr. Funeral Services for Mr. Dobbs will be held Friday, January 12, 2018, 12 Noon, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, in Covington, with Rev. Mike Wadley officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shiloh United Methodist Church, 10 Almon Church Road, Covington, GA 30014; or another charity of your choice.
