Clyde Curtis Scott, 95, retired USAF SMS, resident of Montgomery, Alabama passed peacefully at his home on Monday, January 1, 2018.
He was born in Goodlett, Texas on September 16, 1922 to Walter and Mary Scott. Clyde served his beloved military as a Senior Master Sergeant for 27 years before retiring to Montgomery, Alabama. His service took him to Europe, Korea, Greenland, Canada and many duty stations across the United States. After retirement, his greatest joy was spending time with his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and his church family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 8 siblings.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Maxine Scott; daughters, Sheila Scott and Jana Lubert (Hank); grandchildren, Celeste Eppley (Marshall) of Vestavia Hills, Alabama and Conner Lubert (Jaime) of Wetumpka, Alabama; and great grandchildren Lawson Eppley, and Beckham Eppley of Vestavia Hills, Alabama and Sawyer Lubert, of Wetumpka, Alabama. He is also survived by his brother, Marion Scott, of Baytown, Texas and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews that will miss him dearly.

The funeral service will be held at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, Alabama on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Minister Scotty Harris officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will immediately follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Agape of Central Alabama. The family would like to express a special thank you to Kindred Hospice and his caretakers.
