Colleen C. Duffy, of Tempe Arizona, professional Grandmother of 25 years joined her son's and many other loved ones in the afterlife on January 11, 2018. She was surrounded by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and others who loved her.
Colleen, also known by many as Coke was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. She also resided in Wyoming, Montana, and California, before calling Arizona home in 1989.
Colleen was preceded in death by her two sons Steven T. Duffy II & Shane D. Duffy, grandson Toby Duffy, her parents Dale W. Conway and Patty & Dave Thornton, her Nephew Travis W. Trisoliere, sisters in law Shawna & Beverly Duffy, as well as many other loved ones.
Colleen was a very active member in the Parents of Murdered Children (POMC) Group, The Compassionate Friends (TCF) as well as many other community organizations, She was gifted in numerous arts and crafts, and a very accomplished baker. She was loved by all who were blessed in knowing her and gave her all to help wherever she could, however nothing and nobody came above her grandchildren. Grandma was the title that she wore with the greatest honor. Her grand and great grandchildren meant the world to her, as anyone who met her can attest.
Colleen is survived by her grandchildren: Nashea {Aaron}, Shane, Shanae{Nic}, Nathan, Hector, Cymone, Chase, Adrian, Brandon, Russell, Logan, Makailin, Emily, Zora, Xavier, Leo, Sabrina, Ryder, Shane, LillyAnn & Eve, great grandchildren: Sophia, Ambrey, Jordan, Remley & Grayson, children: Stephenie {Ben} Jentink, Coke 'Anjie' {Matt} Fedor, Colen {Trudy} Duffy, Cayla {Nick} Padberg, as well as brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends.
Memorial Services will be held at Christ's Church of the Valley (CCV) 1330 S. Crismon Rd., Mesa, on Thursday, January 18th at 3:00 p.m. A reception will immediately follow at Red Mountain Park 7745 E. Brown Rd., Mesa.
A sepulture will be held at 9:00am Friday, January 19, at Mariposa Gardens Mausoleum 6747 E. Broadway Rd., Mesa. Her family would like to thank everyone in the Banner Desert Critical Care team for working diligently to help her, as well as everyone in POMC, CCV, Mariposa Gardens, and all others who have helped us during this difficult time.
