Collin J. Cross, 20, of Colleyville TX, passed away on February 26th, 2017. He was born November 4th, 1996 in Grapevine, the son of Randy and Sheila (Simonson) Cross. He graduated from Covenant Christian Academy in 2015 where he was a member of the football team. He was currently enrolled in the University of Colorado Boulder majoring in business finance.

Collin, a synthesis of spontaniety, originality, and genius. Was stead-fast in his endeavors. Propelled by his ambition, he used his expanisve thoughts to undertake a number of analytical challenges. Never ceasing to amaze, Collin would conquer tasks in any area of expertise. Galavanting from hardware development, astronomy, sociology, and everything in between. Collin scoured the spectrum of life with an open mind pursuing the thrill of discovery. His colorful personality was infectious to all who came into contact. Anyone who was willing to learn, he was there to teach. Collin’s devotion to the eudaimonia of his loved ones, continues to inspire all who were captivated by his exuberance.

Collin is survived by his mother Sheila (Simonson) Cross; his brothers Jordan, and Jack. He also leaves behind his paternal grandmother Mary Cross, and maternal grandparents Harley and Greta Simonson. Along with an array of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is also survied by his girlfriend Victoria “Tori” Thompson, and best friend Sam Lynch. Collin was preceded in death by his father Randall “Randy” Cross.
