Craig A. Carlson, 58 of Littleton, died at Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester on April 28, 2016. He was born in Boston on May 8, 1957, son of the late Fred and Helen (Campbell) Carlson. He grew up in Brookline where he lived for many years until 2006, when he and his wife, Ann Marie moved to Littleton for a little slice of peace and quiet. Craig was in the piano moving business for most of his life and managed the day-to-day business of Death Wish Piano Movers, interacting with the greater Boston music community. He was a very proud and patriotic man who loved his country, his family, children and animals, good food and traveling. He also loved old movies, especially John Wayne movies.
Craig is survived by his wife Ann Marie (Mazzola) Carlson, his children Michael A. Carlson of South Boston, Caitlin Carlson of Allston and stepson Stephen A. Morse of Reading. He is also survived by his brother Everett “Bo” Carlson of Lakeland, Florida, the late Michael Carlson of California, sisters Tura Mae Carlson of Woburn, and Linda (Carlson) Phillips of Brookline. Craig leaves behind three grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and his beloved cat, Bootie.
Visiting hours will be held at Badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street, Littleton on Tuesday May 3, 2016 from 4-7 pm, with a Memorial Service at 6:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to pancan.org. Please see www.badgerfuneral.com.
