On Sunday morning, August 30, 2015; Curtis Dale Wiley slept peacefully as angels lifted his spirit into the soft blue skies. At 52 years young, he spent several months as a warrior battling on the front lines of many health issues. Curtis is preceded in death by his mother Wanda Mae Wiley and father Walter Vernon Wiley. Left to cherish his memories are his only daughter and light of his life, Ashley Wiley (life companion Alex Good), grandchild expected March 2016, Life partner, Ellen Brown, sister, Pam Wiley, and brother Kerry Wiley (wife Christine).

A native Charlestonian, who bled blue and gold loved the WVU Mountaineers lived by the motto, Montani Semper Liberi, “Mountaineers are Always Free”. Curtis led the way by his own rules and commandments of Rock and Roll. He was a man of insurmountable humor and practical jokes-always leaving a smile on the faces of those he loved. The happiest moments of his life were spent with a fishing pole in hand and when his favorite sportsman Jimmy Johnson left the NASCAR track a winner.
