Curtis Warren Moseley went to be with his Lord and Savior at the age of 84 on Thursday, October 5, 2017. He was born in Leroy, Alabama on January 20, 1933 to Robert and Ruth Moseley. The family later moved to Mobile where Curtis grew up and attended high school. He joined the United States Air Force in 1951, served in Germany for two years and received an honorable discharge in 1955.

He returned to Mobile and went to work for Civil Service. In 1966, Curtis was transferred to the Corpus Christi Army Depot where he worked in the Rotating Electric Shop and later became the Supervisor. He retired from Civil Service in 1988.

Curtis gave his heart and life to Jesus Christ on December 6, 1970 at Trinity Baptist Church. He was a member there for several years before being ordained as a deacon. In 1983 Trinity Baptist relocated, built on Airline Road and was renamed Brighton Park Baptist Church where Curtis served through the years as a faithful member in many areas of ministry.

He loved to witness to people and tell them about salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. He enjoyed playing golf, camping and travelling with his wife, Nancy, and their RV club, and visiting church members in assisted living and nursing homes. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ruth Moseley, his son, Curtis Moseley, Jr., brother, Harold Moseley and great granddaughter, Hallie Marie Brian.

He is survived by Nancy, his wife of 45 years who was the love of his life, two daughters, Rene (Dwayne) Severio, Tracy Walker, sisters, Barbara Slaughter, Eleanor Palazola, four grandchildren, Amanda (Allen) Brian, Amber Walker, Katie (Blaine) Dupuy, Tyler Severio, great grandchildren, Tanner, Tinley and Trace Brian, Emma Dupuy and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Continued visitation will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. with entombment to follow at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with Military Honors.
