Ms. Cynthia Carolyn Eagleton , a daughter of the late Mr. Earl Eagleton and Mrs. Louise Hicks Eagleton, was born in Florence County on June 3, 1951. She departed this life on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at McLeod Regional Medical Center. Cynthia attended the public schools of Florence County. She was formerly employed as a Private Duty Nurse. She also worked as a Custodian for McLeod Regional Medical Center and other Nursing Homes for many years. Cynthia's memory will be forever cherished by: her loving children, daughter, Shan'ta (Leroy) Murphy of Charlotte, North Carolina, and son, Lorenzo Eagleton of Florence, South Carolina; two grandchildren, Tavon Murphy and Akeeli Murphy; two sisters, Chilton Eagleton (John) and Whirlena Williams; three aunts, Earline Hicks, Louise Belin, and Geneva (William) Thompson; three uncles, Bobby (Claudie) Hicks, Arthur (Frances) Eagleton, and Lawrence (Shirley) Eagleton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
