Cynthia Miller Boucher beloved wife of Carl Lemar Boucher, Jr. died at home on February 14, 2017 from complications of kidney disease. She is survived by two daughters, Anne Marie Boucher-Isbell and Noelle Boucher Young, and was preceded in death by one infant son, Stephen Jude Boucher. She is survived by two sons-in-law, John C. Isbell, Jr. and Clarence “Trey” S. Young, III. She is survived by three grandsons, Keaton Boucher-Isbell, Jackson Young, and Jude Young.

She is the daughter of the late Henry W. Miller, Jr. and Eleanor Landry Miller. She is the granddaughter of the late Grenobre M. and the late Imelda Suarez Landry on the maternal side of the family. She is the granddaughter of the late Henry W. Miller, Sr. and late Sylvia Blanchard Miller on the paternal side. She is also survived by two sisters, Faye Miller Cabirac and Connie Miller David and their spouses, Chester Cabirac and Steven Pomarico. She is survived by two nieces, Colleen Turner and Mallory David (Robert M. Rooney, Jr.), one great nephew, Christian Turner, one former brother-in-law J. Thomas David.

Cynthia attended high school in New Orleans, graduated from Academy of the Holy Angels in 1966. She worked as a secretary at Mutual of New York and Kemper Group as a transcriber in the 1980s. Following her first kidney transplant in 1990, she attended Southeastern Louisiana University and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1997 with a Bachelor’s Degree. She received her second kidney transplant in 2008.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 600 N. Oak St., Hammond, LA 70401 on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 12:00 NOON. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM until service time with a Rosary beginning at 11:30 AM. Interment will be private.
