D. L. "Dan" Seffel

Our husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, mentor and friend went to be with the Lord on August 25, 2017. A life well lived, he was born on January 24, 1928 and raised by his mother and father Edith and Fred Seffel, in Oklahoma City with his two brothers, Joseph and Ralph, who preceded him in death.they certainly were a trio. He graduated from Central High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the Navy and served as a corpsman until the end of World War II. Returning to civilian life, he served as an officer with the Spencer, Iowa police department. Later, he returned to Oklahoma City and began a long career as a general contractor. He had numerous additional business interests including property management, vending machines and the entertainment industry. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. He often expressed that he had done everything he wanted to do in his life.well said Dan! He is survived by his wife, Pam, of Edmond, his children Val Zemke of Edmond, Chris Kallem of Forest Lake, Minnesota, Pam Eddy of Piedmont, Danny Seffel of Oklahoma City and Jason Seffel of Tulsa along with nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 in the Chapel at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 4400 N. Shartel, Oklahoma City with burial following at Memorial Park Cemetery.
