Dan K. Lee Cox Funeral Home Bastrop, Louisiana COLLINSTON, LA. Funeral services for Mr. Dan K. Lee will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop. Bro. Andy Myrick will officiate the services. Interment will follow at Loch Arbor Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop. Dan Kline Lee was born January 7, 1938 in Collinston, Louisiana. He was one of fourteen children born to the late Frank Ellis Lee and Pearl Atkins Lee. Mr. Dan passed away unexpectedly on October 25, 2014 at Morehouse General Hospital in Bastrop, Louisiana. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Isa Wyatt Lee; a granddaughter, Kelly Boies; and eleven siblings. Dan was a pipefitter with Breck Construction Company. He was an avid fisherman and he also enjoyed playing the game of golf. "Fisher-Dan" was known far and wide for his fishing-frying culinary talent. Most of all Dan loved his family and friends. He was loved by all. Mr. Dan is survived by his wife, Jackie Harper Lee of Collinston, Louisiana; his three daughters, Karen Lee Smith and her husband, Dennis of Collinston, Louisiana, Lori Lee Santa-Ana and her husband, Stephen of Brandon, Mississippi, and Amy Lee Diaz of Collinston, Louisiana; his step-children, Debby Tubbs and her husband, Mike of Collinston, Louisiana, Scott Boies and his wife, Jackie of Mer Rouge, Louisiana, and Bob Boies of Collinston, Louisiana. Mr. Lee is also survived by two brothers, Ed Lee and his wife, Margo of Swartz, Louisiana and Tommy Lee and his wife, Minnie of Clinton, Arkansas; fourteen grand-children, Maggie Smith, Stephanie Walters, Jonathan Freeman, Danisa Perez, Adelia Lee, Kalina Graves, Ryan Carey, Josh Tubbs, Jill Essex, Nick Boies, Emily Boies, Corey Boies, Chandler Boies, and Cameron Boies; a host of great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Serving as pallbearers are Scott Boies, Bob Boies, Corey Boies, Nick Boies, Dr. Jeffrey Combetta, and Dr. Thomas Parker. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 27, 2014 at Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop. For those who wish, the family suggest that memorials be made in Dan's memory, to the Med-Camps of North Louisiana, 102 Thomas Road Suite 615, West Monroe, Louisiana 71291.
