Dana was born on November 7, 1952 and passed away in April 2018.

Dana was a resident of New York at the time of passing.

Born in Troy, Nov. 7, 1952, son of the late Russell and Mabel Coon Richardson, Dana was a 1971 graduate of Mechanicville High School, and later at SUNY Plattsburgh, where he starred in football. Dana had a career as an educator, teaching in Mont Pleasant High School in Schenectady for a number of years.

Dana was a US Army veteran, serving at Fort Devans, Va.

A Burial Service with military honors will be held on Thursday, Apr 19th at 1 PM at Hudson View Cemetery, South St., Mechanicville.
