Daniel E. Clark, 74 of Marlborough and formerly of Winchester, passed away at his home on August 10, 2017.

Dan was born in Keene on September 4, 1942, son of the late Geraldine A. Clark of Keene. He attended school in Keene and graduated in Long Beach, California after the family had moved there in the mid 50's. He then joined the Army with some friends and was stationed in Anchorage, Alaska.

Dan retired from Time Warner Cable Company some years ago. All his adult life, he always had a part-time job working on a police force in Vermont and New Hampshire. He served on the Marlboro Fire Department for a time and the Search and Rescue Team.

Dan's enjoyment was golfing, fishing, hunting. He loved to compete in tournaments whether it was rifle, bow and arrow, or darts and he won many trophies. He had his pilot's license and enjoyed to fly as much as he could. He loved to take family and friends for a ride. Whatever Dan set out to do was perfection - he loved a challenge.

Survivors include three daughters and five granddaughters: Pamela Cobb and her two daughters Amber Lynn Shaw and Heather Cobb; Janice Clark-Guillet and her daughter Mikayla; Jennifer Clark and her two daughters Ashley Beauchesne and Kristy McDaniels; and a sister: Judy Cossingham.

A brother, Robert Davis, and sister, Theresa Davis, died years ago. Dan also had a son, Danny Jr., who drowned when he was only two.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, August 18, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Fletcher Funeral Home, 33 Marlboro Street, Keene, NH. A funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday, August 19 at 11:00 am with burial to follow at the West Cemetery in East Alstead, NH.
