Daniel was born on January 18, 1939 and passed away on Friday, March 9, 2018.

Daniel was a resident of North Carolina at the time of passing.

Dan received his undergraduate degree from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida and his MBA from The George Washington University in Washington DC.

Being a naturalized citizen Dan was proud to have served in the United States Navy for 20 years retiring as a Commander in 1981.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on March 24, 2018 at St. John's Episcopal Church (1623 Carmel Road). Burial will take place at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, Dan requested that donations be made to the Carolinas Healthcare Foundation, Hematology Research Fund for Leukemia/Dr.
