Daniel Lopez Salazar was 79 years old when he passed just 45 Days shy of his 80th Birthday. Daniel spent over half of his life in the city of Riverbank before passing peacefully of natural causes on July 8th. Daniel was born in Nueva Rosita, Coahuila Mexico on August 21st 1937 to Genoveva Salazar and Daniel Lopez. He attended school in Mexico till the age of 13 before making his way to the United States in search of work and to pursue the American Dream. Daniel started as a laborer before eventually owning a farm labor contracting business of his own. Daniel had struggled with Alcohol until he found peace with the AA at the age of 37. It 's with the AA Daniel spent a great deal of his later years. Dedicating himself to the organization gained him a great amount of respect and appreciation from the AA Community, as well as with his friends and family . Daniels second passion was selling in various flea markets throughout California. Where he made his passion a family affair involving his daughter and grandson working in different decades by his side. Daniel is survived by his late wife Antonia Lopez the mother of his two children, His Spouse Delia Rodriguez, his daughters Irene and Marie Lopez, and his grandson Jeff Lopez and his two great grandchildren Daniel and Priscilla Lopez. Services for Daniel Viewing will be July 19th from 4-8pm at Lakewood Riverside Chapel and the Funeral Services will be the following Day July 20th at 10am at Lakewood Memorial Park with a celebration of life to follow.
