Never say goodbye – say "Until will meet again"

Danny Peter Lombas was born in New Orleans, LA on September 6, 1952. He died of natural causes at his home in Ponchatoula, LA on March 31,2020. Debra "Debbie" Ann Works Lombas was born in San Antonio, TX on June 5, 1955. She died of natural causes at her home in Ponchatoula, LA on September 3,2020. Danny and Debbie were married on June 6, 1972; 47 years married, 51 years together. They raised 5 children in Ponchatoula, LA.

They are survived by:

Their children: Heather Renee Lombas Cade, Genia Marie Lombas, Ashley Ann Lombas, Justin Daniel Peter Lombas and Andrew Robert Lombas
Grandchildren: Jonathon Michael Saltzman, Rebecca Rosalie Guthrie Plumb, Zachary Wayne Tisdale, Nathan Daniel Peter Lombas, Gabrielle Elizabeth Daigle, Jenna Rose Lombas, Hailey Anita Lombas, Collin Matthew Lombas, Wade Daniel Peter Lombas, Arianna Joyce Knight, Andilynn Marie Lombas
Great Grandchildren: Zachary Brock Tisdale, Ethan James Plumb, Kolt Michael Saltzman, Caleb Shane Plumb, Charlie Fay Cooper Tisdale, Kade Maddox Saltzman

Debbie is preceded in death by her father Gene V. Works. Danny is preceded in death by his parents, Francis E. Lombas Sr., and Hattie Lombas, two brothers Robert Lombas and Francis Lombas Jr. and his niece Buffie Mansfield.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Thursday, September 10, 2020 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond on Thursday at 7:00 pm, with Rev. Mike O'Rourke officiating.

Face masks are now mandatory to attend any visitation or service at the funeral home. Thank you for your cooperation.
