Darlene M. Wunsch "Dar" After a long and courageous battle of ten years, with COPD, Dar left us on May 15, 2017, at the age of 69, to be with her Lord and Savior in Heaven. She is now at peace, and free from the horrible disease, and its pain, and breathing struggle. She is celebrating now in Heaven, with her late sister “Joni” and her loving “Daddy”, Ervin, and many other friends and relatives. “Dolly” is survived by her precious mother Esther Wunsch, dear sisters Judie Mantel and Shirley (Jim) Hallada, her best friend and caregiver Andrea “Andy” Bentz, and many relatives and friends. Dar loved to pray and read inspirational books. She loved to listen to contemporary Christian music, going to concerts and festivals, such as “Lifefest”. She retired from Mantel Machine Products in 2007, being always a dedicated worker and inspector, and loved her job. She was also always a dedicated family member and had fun with her friends in game club and dart club, matching movies and NASCAR. Visitation at ST. JAMES CATHOLIC CHURCH, W220 N6588 Town Line Rd., Menomonee Falls on Friday, May 19 from 10:00 AM, until the time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment at Wisconsin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please honor Darlene with memorials to the American Lung Association or St. James Parish. Dar will be missed by many. A big “thank you” to all who came to visit her, and made her smile, as she became homebound, quite awhile.
