Darlien Zuch, 77 of West Hills passed away on Wednesday March 29, 2017. She was born May 4, 1939 to Alden Grant and Martha Ethel Hansen in Salt Lake City, Utah.

When she was a small child the family moved to the San Fernando Valley, where Darlien spent the rest of her life. She was the oldest of four children, next was her sister Maunee, and brothers Ron, and Marvin.

Darlien loved animals and always had several dogs and cats that she adored and spoiled.

She married Ronald Claire Moore in 1956 they had two children a son Deon and daughter Lisa, they later divorced in 1962.

In 1972 Darlien met Rudi W. Zuch her best friend and sweetheart they were married October 7, of that year. Rudi brought two sweet daughters to this marriage Theresa, and Lorissa. They have been married for 44 wonderful years.

She was a successful Real Estate Agent in the San Fernando Valley for 37 years retiring in 2010.
She loved being an agent and made many friends over the years.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints, where she served in many capacities. Her favorite and most challenging was as Relief Society President. Darlien spent many hours studying the Scriptures and learning all she could about the gospel. She loved doing genealogy and spent many hours tracking down her ancestors.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Darlien is survived by her husband Rudi W. Zuch, son Deon (Bonnie) Moore, daughter Lisa Ann Miller, and stepdaughters Theresa (Jeff) Blake, and Lorrisa Zuch, 8 grandchildren, and 3 great granddaughters, a sister Maunee (Gregg) Schrott, and a brother Ron (Sandy) Hansen. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Marvin Hansen.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday April 7th at the West Hills LDS Chapel, 7045 Farralone Ave, Canoga Park, CA 91304. The family will receive friends Friday morning from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Oakwood Memorial Park, 22601 Lassen St, Chatsworth, CA 91311.
