David F. Sherman passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was 54. David was the beloved husband of Paula M. Sherman with whom he had shared over 28 years of marriage. He was born in Abington, PA a son of Geraldine A. and the late Elmer F. Sherman. In addition to his wife and mother David is survived by a brother, Gary Sherman, a sister Lisa Connor and her husband Gerry, a nephew Ryan Connor and a niece Madeline Connor. David was a fabulous husband and good friend to all. His forte was working on computers and he used that talent in his career to the fullest. As an IT Specialist he was an asset to many industries from pharmaceutical to finance. And he was lovingly referred to as "Gadget Guy" by all his family and friends. Dave loved nature, music and always seemed to have the right song for the occasion. David also enjoyed photography and spending time in nature, appreciating the beauty with his wife. Relatives and friends are invited to attend David's memorial service on Sunday, June 25th, at 12:00 noon at Pennypack Watershed - Pennypack Ecological Trust, 2955 Edge Hill Rd, Huntington Valley, PA 19006. There is limited parking, and additional parking can be found on Edge Hill Rd. Those attending should wear comfortable footwear for walking around the park. In lieu of flowers memorial in David's memory may be made to the Dutch County Animal Rescue, PO Box 10186, Pleasanton, CA 94588 or to the Wounded Warriors Project, PO BOX 758516, Topeka, KS 66675.
