David G. Budgell of Buzzards Bay formerly of Plymouth and Dedham, Died May 3rd in Boston. He was the beloved husband of Bethany A. (DeRosa) Budgell. Loving father of Gregory A. Budgell of Chicago, IL. and Rebecca A. Rawding of Burlington, MA. Son of Barbara (Taylor) Budgell of Sandwich. And the late Kenneth Budgell. Brother of Deborah Taylor of Plainville. Loving Father-in-law of Gary Rawding and Sheela Kumar. Proud Bubba of Gary David Rawding. Born in Brookline, MA. June 13, 1950 he was a graduate of Dedham High school and Boston State. David worked for the Massachusetts Dept. of Corrections for 23 years working at Walpole, Jamaica Plain and the Myles Standish Forestry Camp in Plymouth. He was active with Youth sports coaching little league and soccer. David also taught school at Plymouth South Elementary and P.C.I.S. Was Santa to many. He enjoyed fishing and time along the canal with his family. A celebration of David's life will be held on Wednesday May 9th at 12:30 pm in the Cartmell Funeral Home 150 Court St. Plymouth . Visiting with family and freinds from 11 – 12:30 . Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Assn. 460 Totten Pond Road, Suite 400, Waltham. MA. 02451-1991.
