David was born on November 8, 1939 and passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2016.

David was a resident of Columbus, Indiana at the time of his passing.

Kelso Burnside graduated from Columbus High School in 1957 and Butler University in 1961 where he was a Sigma Chi.

He was a U.S. Air Force Reserve veteran from 1962-1967.

He was married to Gay Louise Brewer.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Howard Boles officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street and from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
