David Ray Warden, 50, of Lexington, NC, formerly of Charleston, WV, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at Brian Center Nursing Home after a long illness.

He was a 1983 graduate of Dunbar High School where he played in the marching band. He was an avid collector of many things. His pride and joy was his niece, Kaitlyn, whom he loved very much.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David R Warden, Sr. and Gloria "Betty" Swanson Warden.

David is survived by his two sisters, Margaret Warden (Tim) Crews of Oakridge, NC and Jennifer Warden (William) Vasquez of St. Petersburg, FL; his favorite niece, Kaitlyn Crews; stepmother, Irma J. Warden of North Charleston, WV; as well as many aunts and uncles and cousins. David will be missed very much by all of his family.

A Graveside Service to Honor the Life of David Warden will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, March 30, 2015, in the Chapel at Montgomery Memorial Park, London, WV with Pastor Tamera Kraft officiating.

Family and friends may visit from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Snodgrass Funeral Home, South Charleston.
