Mrs. Deborah Raylene Wilson, 66, of Valdese, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at her residence, following a period of declining health.
Deborah was born on March 22, 1953 in Yancey County to the late Herman Hall and Dixie Blevins Hall. She was a dedicated member of Connelly Springs Freewill Baptist Church for 57 years, with many loving church family members. She worked for Alba-Waldensian for many years, and later with BCPS in the cafeteria for several schools before her retirement.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Tonya Blevins and Tammy Hall.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Lonnie James Wilson of the home, her children, Lisa Feeback and husband Jody, and Adam Wilson and wife Tina. Also surviving are five grandchildren; Aaron Feeback and wife Kristen, Kaleb Feeback and Wife LaCosta, Lillie Wilson, Shelby Wilson and Clay Wilson, two great-grandchildren; Lizzie Kate and Lane Feeback, three sisters; Saundra Brittain, Nina Ward and Sharon Collins, a brother in-law, Paul (Bobby) Wilson and wife Darlene, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Connelly Springs Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Aaron Causby officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday, from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese.
