Debra Jane Parsons, age 60 of Searcy, departed this life Friday, March 25, 2016 surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born March 23, 1956 in Searcy, Arkansas, the daughter of Steve T. and Anna Mae Deaton Sterling. She was a bookkeeper and co-owner of Parsons Wholesale Florist. She attended Searcy First Assembly of God Church. She is survived by her husband, Danny Parsons; two daughters, Jennifer (Jeremy) Bowman of Princeton, Louisiana; Danielle Hill of Searcy; two sons of the heart, Erik (Daisy) Delaney of Thompson Falls, Montana; Chucky (Jennifer) Gray of Searcy; one grandson, Landon Hill of Searcy; one grandson of the heart, Chandler Gray of Searcy; her father, Steve T. Sterling of Searcy; one sister, Rita Iglehart of Searcy; one brother, Steve (Melanie) Sterling, Jr. of Searcy; and many, many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Mae Sterling; and one son, Aaron Parsons. Visitation is Sunday, March 27, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Powell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 pm at Searcy First Assembly of God Church with interment to follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
