Delmar G. Ralph (85) entered heaven on 02/04/2017. He was born in Kennewick, Washington on 05/13/1931 to Jesse B. and Myrtle Ralph. He attended elementary school in Knights Landing and Esparto, CA, but graduated from high school at Kellyville High School in Oklahoma where he played baseball and basketball. After graduating from high school he married Naomi Fryhover of Tulsa, OK. They moved to Sacramento in 1952 with their first son Glenn. Within two weeks he started working at Aerojet, where he worked for 41 years, retiring in 1993. He moved his growing family to North Highlands in 1956, and played basketball and pitched fast pitch softball into the mid 1960's with a church team. He was an exceptional pitcher. He moved to Orangevale in 1978 where he lived until his death. His wife Naomi; preceded him in death in 2013. He is survived by children Glenn and wife Kathy,,Son Gary and wife Darlene, Son Gus and wife Sue, daughter Carol, and Gerald and his wife Renee. He was blessed to have 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. His greatest achievement was leading his family in serving his Savior, Jesus Christ, and faithfully supporting his local Assembly of God Church. He served on many church boards through the years beginning when he was 18 yrs old and continuing into his 85th year. He was a true dedicated Christian and was a living testimony to his Lord's faithfulness to him and his family. His bright smile and pleasant disposition will be missed by all who knew him. His memorial Service will be held at The Sylvan District Cemetery at 7401 Auburn Blvd on 5/13/2017 at 10:00 am.
