Delmar Leon Cozby was born on December 15, 1933 in Madera, California. He was raised in the central valley of California for most of his younger life.

Delmar served 8 years in the United States Navy.

In 1957, he married his first wife Pauline they shared 44 years of marriage prior to her death. They moved to Phoenix in 1974. Delmar retired from Bridgford Foods in 1995 after years of serving as their Southwest District Manager. In 2002, he married his second love Marjorie. Delmar was involved in many things over his lifetime. He enjoyed being a foster parent, a Mason, church activities, working on cars, flying airplanes, sports and so much more. Most of all Delmar loved his family. He was loved and respected by all who knew him.

Delmar is survived by his loving wife Marjorie Dight-Cozby of Scottsdale, two daughters Dianne Mechelle Stimson of Crawford, TX & Jean Anderson and her husband Robert of Fresno, CA, son Jerry Dee Cozby of Spartanburg, SC, stepson Reardon Dight of Scottsdale, 8 grandchildren Robert Steven Anderson of Longview, WA, John Paul Anderson of Fresno, CA, Jonathan Delmar Stimson of Phoenix, Christopher Michael Cozby of Avondale, Anthony Jason Cozby of Phoenix, Dana Erin Cozby & Danielle Lee Cozby both of Tennessee, 13 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren, sister Mercedieth Webster of Clovis, CA and brother James Ray Cozby of Montana.

He was preceded in death by his parents A.Q. and Arlena Cozby, wife Pauline Cozby, son Rusty Leon Cozby, grandsons Michael Thomas Anderson & Robert P. Anderson, and brothers Dwain & Marvin Cozby.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to the Staff of Huger Mercy Living Center for their respect, dignity, love and care while Delmar was a resident.
