Dennis James Daugereaux passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 67. He was born on Friday, June 19, 1953 in Mamou, Louisiana to the late Verdie and Joseph Daugereaux. He was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana. He was a devout Catholic who loved to pray the rosary and regularly attended St. Margaret's Catholic Church. He was devoted to his loving wife of 35 years and adored his daughter, Sadie. Dennis was known to be a model of strength of kindness to all. His gentle soul has touched the lives of many and will live on to inspire others for years to come.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Tangee Daugereaux; daughter, Sadie Daugereaux; sister, Patricia Daugereaux; brother, David Daugereaux (Edwina); nephews, Joseph Daugereaux (Kelly) and André Daugereaux (Beka); great-nieces and nephews, Isaac, Whitley, and Amelia; and mother and father-in-law, Rita Bass and Guy Baldassaro.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Daugereaux; mother, Verdie Duplechin; nephew, Christopher; Nanny, Emmay Lefluer; paternal grandparents, Esther and Levy Daugereaux; and his maternal grandparents.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Saturday, November 21, 2020, at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home, 100 W Magnolia Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, beginning at 8:30 AM Until 10:30 AM. Mass will be held the same day at 11:00 AM at St. Margaret's Catholic Church, 30300 Catholic Hall Road, Albany, Louisiana 70711.

Interment will follow in St. Margaret Catholic Church Cemetery, Albany, Louisiana.
The family would also like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Lon Alexander and the staff at North Oaks Medical Center.
