Chester Dewayne Casey, 70, of Poplar Bluff, died Sunday, April 15, 2007 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Casey was born Feb. 4, 1937, in Hendrickson. He previously owned and operated several restaurants and enjoyed cooking. Mr. Casey was also a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Survivors include a son, Sean A. Casey, of Poplar Bluff; his former wife and business partner, Donna New, of Poplar Bluff; one grandson; four sisters, Wilma Mayfield, of Edwardsville, Ill., Wanda Rickman, of Poplar Bluff, Margaret Mitchell, of St. Peters and Darlene Fortner, of Stone Mountain, Ga.; and a brother, Thomas Casey, of Poplar Bluff.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel, with the Rev. Jerry Moore officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff.
