Diane L. King of Lansdale, formerly of Hatboro, passed away on November 22, 2016. She was 51. Diane was the beloved wife of Barry K. King with whom she had shared over 31 years of marriage. She was born in Philadelphia the daughter of Carol E. Adams and the late Ronald H. Adams. Diane was a 1983 graduate of Hatboro Horsham High School and of Katherine Gibbs Business School. She was an employee of Pennsylvania Lumbermens Insurance Company for over 25 years and earned many insurance designations while working with several insurance compliance organizations. Diane also was an avid lover of live local music. In addition to her husband and mother, Diane is survived by two children, Myles Alexander King and Sarah Christine King and her husband Jonathan C. Smith, a sister Karen L. Kane, two brothers Ronald P. Adams and Dr. Kenneth W. Adams and his wife Dr. Alexandra Z. Adams and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends will be received by her family on Monday, Nov. 28, 2016 after 10:00 a.m. in St. John Bosco Church, 215 E. County Line Road, Hatboro, PA followed by her Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. Her interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn. In lieu of flowers memorials in Diane's memory may be made to National Down Syndrome Society, 8 E 41st Street, 8th Floor, New York, New York, 10017.
