Dimple Maebelle Corbin, 96 of Boonville, Missouri passed away on Friday, March 6, 2015 at her home.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at William Wood Funeral Home, 517 Fourth Street, Boonville, Missouri. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Sulphur Springs Cemetery, New Franklin, Missouri.
Dimple was born on Tuesday, July 30, 1918 in Rocheport, Missouri to Joseph William & Margaret Anna Wilhite Blair. She was united in marriage on Tuesday, May 25, 1943 to Roy William Corbin. Dimple was employed at Toastmaster until her retirement and she also worked for 10 years at the telephone company. She was the mother of 7 children and loved sewing, quilting and reading.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 4 sisters, Emma Blair Allen, Elizabeth Blair Hardin, Diane Blair and Josie Blair Brown, and 3 brothers, James William Blair, Marshall Chamberlain Blair and Harold Otto Blair.
She leaves to mourn her loss her children, Marlyn & James Carswell, of Pensacola, FL, Shirley & Martin Carignan, of Prairie Village, KS, Joyce & James Clay, of Linn Creek, MO, Wilma Watson & Theresa Palazzolo, both of Boonville, MO, Joseph Charles Miller and Larry Lee & Lois Miller, all of New Franklin, MO, 2 sisters, Pauline Hellard, and Virginia Munsford, both of Frankfort, KY, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
