Dixie Batye, age 79 of Mendon, died Saturday March 28, 2015 at her residence.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday April 08, 2015 at the Brookfield Eagle's Club with Jerry Stone officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Dixie was born on April 18, 1935 at Clinton, Illinois, daughter of Samuel and Ellen Polen. On May 10, 1954 she was united in marriage to G. B. Batye at the Marceline Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, G. B. of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Sharon Batye, Claycomo; one daughter, Tina Perry, Mendon; four grandchildren, Kimberly Degan, Kameron and Kasey Perry, all of Mendon and Daniel and Melissa Batye, Lawson; three great-grandchildren, Garrett Bo Lucky, Dan Allen Batye and Lavisa Batye.

Dixie was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.
