Donald Eugene Falos, 90, of Lincoln, entered heaven December 20, 2017. He was born January 3, 1927, in Grand Forks, North Dakota, to Edgar and Ethel Falos. He graduated from GF High School and was a World War II Veteran. Don married Charlotte Wilker on July 24, 1949, at Immanuel Lutheran, Grand Forks. They moved to Omaha in 1958 and had lived in Lincoln since 1959. As a youth, he sold newspapers on the street corner and was a pin setter at a bowling alley. Employment included flooring installation, the post office, sales and service, and Falos Fumigation. He had colorful stories about all of them! He enjoyed his Christ Lutheran Church Bible Study group and all the friends there. Don is survived by daughter Diane and Ronald Schwab; grandchildren Heather and Lucas Landreth (Layla and Logan), Jason and Anna Schwab (Caroline and Hudson), and Joel and Jennifer Schwab (Caleb and Elias); siblings Robert and Carlene Falos and Gloria Plath. He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Charlotte, and brother Edgar Falos Jr. Family will be gathering for a graveside on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 11am, at Lincoln Memorial Park 6800 So. 14th St., Gate 3, with Dr. Luke Schnake officiating.
