Donald Lee Watts, Sr., 81, of South Charleston, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2015, at CAMC- Memorial Hospital.

He was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church. He retired from Union Carbide with 34 years of service as a lab technician in research and development building 740. He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of the V.F.W.. He was a former member of FOPA South Charleston and the NRA. He was an avid reader, preferring science fiction and adventure.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland R. and Florence Mae Lovelace Watts; brother, Richard M. Watts; daughter, Kelli Sue Watts.

Donald is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sue Ann Watts; son, Donald Lee Watts, Jr. of South Charleston; daughter, Lori Ann Watts of Dunbar; two grandchildren, Erin McClure and Sally Wyant; three great grandchildren, Afton, Kaydence and Lachlan. Donald is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service to Honor the Life of Donald will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 03, 2015, at Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans with Pastor David Moutz officiating.

Family and friends may visit from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, April 02, 2015 at Snodgrass Funeral Home, South Charleston.
