Donald Anthony Muscolino, Det. CPD Ret., age 70, of Antioch, died suddenly, October 9, 2016. Beloved husband of Phyllis (Thompsen); loving father of Julie (Joseph) Partipilo and the late Anthony S. Muscolino (Niles PD); cherished grandfather of Isabella, Samuel, Anthony, Samantha, Skylar, and the late infant Sophia. Fond brother of Robert (Marilyn) Muscolino, CPD Ret., Pamela (John) Verdico and brother in-law of George (Penny) Thompsen. Loving uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Santo and Ann (Farenga) Muscolino and his brothers Leonard Muscolino, CPD, and Louis Muscolino, Niles PD. Resting at Justen Funeral Home & Crematory, 3700 Charles J. Miller Road, McHenry. Visitation Friday, Oct. 14, 2016 from 4 to 8 p.m. Visitation resumes Saturday at The Church of Holy Apostles, 5211 W. Bull Valley Road, McHenry, IL from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.
