Donald was born on August 21, 1949 and passed away on Friday, May 12, 2017.

Donald was a resident of Massachusetts.

Don was a US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War served on the USS Mississinewa.

His family will receive friends on Tuesday May 16th from 4-8 PM at the Forastiere Smith Funeral Home 220 North Main St. East Longmeadow. His Funeral will begin on Wednesday May 17th at 8:45 AM from the funeral home followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Patricks Church Springfield. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery Springfield.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association 1111 Elm St. West Springfield MA 01089 or to a charity of ones choice. www.forastiere.com.
