Donald was born on April 9, 1925 and passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018.

Donald was a resident of Connecticut at the time of passing.

At the age of 17 he joined the US Army and fought in World War II earning a Bronze Star.

He proudly belonged to several clubs including the Pioneer Hose Co #1, Groton, Masonic Order, Blue Lodge, Mystic, Shriners, Sphinx, One Dime, Norwich, Old Bastards, Turtles, and the Tuckerbung. A memorial service will be held at Byles-Groton Memorial Home, 310 Thames Street, Groton on July 14, 2018 at 12 p.m. Burial will follow in Colonel Ledyard Cemetery, Groton.
