Donald "Tiger" Wayne Cheek, 61, went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 14, 2017. Tiger was born on June 13, 1956 in Edmond, OK to Gerald Thomas and Merry Thresea (McKinney) Cheek. Tiger attended Mercer Island High School in Seattle, Washington and graduated from Crescent Valley High School in Corvallis, Oregon where he was All State running back and continued to stay in touch with his classmates. He played football on a scholarship at Ventura junior college and The University of Montana. Tiger loved being around his family, being involved with the football teams his dad coached, organizing competitive family sporting events that ended with a trophy, family BBQ's, annual 4th of July parties, and the college football season. He loved being at home and spending time with his cat, "Tigress". Tiger was an avid USC and Led Zepplin fan. In fact, he always said, "Led Zepplin was the best band there ever was". Tiger was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Cheek. Survivors include his mother, Merry McKinney Cheek; his dearly loved and only daughter, Morgan Cheek; brothers, Toney and Todd Cheek; sister, Temi Blackwell and husband David, nephews, Tyler Cheek, Zach Blackwell, Austin Blackwell, Terrance Cheek; nieces, Terra Cheek and Nikkie Cheek; aunt, Janice Cheek; uncle, Gary Cheek; cousins, Rosie Lindley, Brenda Selby, Julie Riffel, Troy McKinney, Tammy Booker, and Shannon McKinney; and numerous other friends and family who will miss him dearly.
