Smith Donald "Donny" William Smith, son of William "Bud" K Smith and Margaret Rosemary Clarke Smith, was born March 16, 1954 and left this world July 28, 2010 at age 56 to join his parents and brother Roger. A devoted husband, loving father, and dotting grandfather, he leaves behind his wife Lilia, daughters Anne-Marie Smith Ratcliff and Lisa Smith, grandsons Raziel and Malchiah Ratcliff, brothers Robert, Clarke and Michael, sisters Roberta and Wanda, and countless nieces, nephews, and friends. Donny honorably served in the U.S. Air Force as a Sergeant, was a Vietnam-era Veteran, and worked at Kelly Air Force Base. Before his passing, he proudly worked at Audie Murphy V.A. Hospital as a civil service employee, alongside fellow veterans. He will be sorely missed. "We love you!" Services will be held Monday, August 2, 2010 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North at 9AM, followed by interment at 11AM at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
