Donald W. Stewart passed with peace on April 26th, with his family and friends by his side. He is survived by his loving wife and yard sale partner, Gwen Stewart, who cared for him to the end. ; daughter and best friend, Brandi Roberts (Trenity) of Bald Knob; daughter, Jerry Phillips of Bicknell, Indiana; daughter, Andrea Adams (Josh) of Cabot; nephew but son at heart, George Moore of Lyons, Indiana; brothers, Bill Fuller (Joanne) of Florida, Fred Stewart of Chicago, Illinois, Bobby Stewart (Judy) of Searcy, Rick Stewart of Bicknell, Indiana; sisters, Cindy Koster of Conway, Patty McLaughlin (Red) of Judsonia, Debbie Rice (Kevin) of Searcy, Mary Harrell (Mike) of Bicknell, Indiana; grandchildren, Trenity Roberts, Jr. and Trystan Roberts of Bald Knob and Devin Phillips of Fort Ranch, Indiana; many nieces, nephews and special friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Vivian Goodwin; father, Bobby Joe Stewart; step-mother, Mildred Stewart; sister, Barbara Moore; brother, Larry Stewart.
Don lived a life filled with many blessings. He loved his family. One of his greatest accomplishments was his daughter, Brandi and all his grandchildren. Don had many friends and never met a stranger. Many of his lifelong friends were from his career at General Industries where he worked for 34 years. Those that knew Don will miss him. He had a heart of gold and a great sense of humor.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Bald Knob with Bro. Wesley Stivers officiating. Visitation with Don's family will begin at 10:30 a.m.
Arrangements are entrusted to Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob-Judsonia.
