Doreen was born on May 12, 1927 and passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018.

Doreen was a resident of Ogden, Utah at the time of passing.

Following in her parents' footsteps, both of whom were alumni of Queen's University, Doreen attended Queen's on a biology scholarship, earning her Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree in 1949.

A service celebrating her life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY, followed by interment in Virgil Rural Cemetery, Virgil, NY.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Doreen's memory may be sent to Monarch Watch, c/o Gift Processing Department, KU Endowment, PO Box 928, Lawrence, KS 66044.
