Dorothy was born on June 8, 1928 and passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2017.

Dorothy was a resident of Portsmouth, Virginia at the time of passing.

Native of Greensboro, NC, Dot received a BA from Wake Forest University and MSW from Virginia Commonwealth University. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 16, 2017, at 11:00am at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, 3300 Cedar Lane, Portsmouth, Va.
