Douglas was born on January 3, 1951 and passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018.

Douglas was a resident of Vandalia, Ohio at the time of passing.

Chief Knight earned his undergraduate degree in criminal justice at the University of Dayton and received a Master of Arts degree from Central Michigan University with a major in management and supervision.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am, Thursday, April 19 at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 435 E. National Rd., Vandalia, with Fr. Interment will follow at Polk Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you please make donations to the Doug L. Knight Memorial Fund, c/o the Vandalia-Butler Found ation in his honor.
