Eddie Joe Messer, 37, passed away unexpectedly on June 2, 2017. He was born to Janice and Jimmy in Griffin, Georgia on June 28, 1979. Raised in Valley, Alabama, Eddie moved to Florida with his family at the age of 13. Eddie was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He was a highly skilled electrician prior to serving his family as a stay-at-home-dad, a role which he enjoyed. Eddie loved to cook and care for his family. He had a degree in Culinary Arts and Patisserie and Baking from Le Cordon Bleu. Eddie also loved the outdoors and wilderness. He was a Cub Scout leader for over 2 years and enjoyed camping, canoeing, kayaking, boating, hunting, fishing, and everything outdoors and water-related. Eddie also loved antiques, such as cars and coins and had many collections. His dream for his family was to live in Tennessee in a cabin, working and living off the land without modern-day conveniences and technology. Eddie was a one-of-a-kind man, and he will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Eddie is survived by his loving wife of 9 years, Angela Messer; children Ian Renton, Lillian Messer, Nevaeh Dixon, Jaden Messer, and Cheyenne Messer; mother Janice Moore and father Jimmy Messer; brother Donnie Williams; mother-in-law and father-in-law Penny Campbell and Kevin Givens; brothers-in-law Vinnie and Alex Candela; as well as many other close relative and friends.
