Edmond was born on April 22, 1932 and passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017.

Edmond was a resident of Albemarle, North Carolina at the time of passing.

The funeral service will be on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel officiated by Rev. Adam Hatley and Rev. Burley Moore. Burial will follow at the Canton Baptist Church Cemetery, 24615 Endy Road, Albemarle. Survivors include son, Gary Edmond Brown and wife Lou of Wake Forest; daughter, Betty Kimrey and husband Danny of Albemarle; grandchildren, Leslie Eudy and husband Jeremy and Justin Kimrey and wife Kelly both of Albemarle, Kevin Brown and wife Samantha of Knightdale and Maegan Tart and husband Nick of Raleigh; great grandchildren, Shaun, Madison, Hunter, Conner, Nathan, and Jaxon; and step great grandchildren, Hunter, Hannah, Ryker, Har'leigh, Dalton, and Presley.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Albemarle Baptist Church, 336 Church Street, Albemarle, NC 28001.
