Edward J. Krisak, Jr., 80, of Robbinsville, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 12, 2018, at Compassionate Care Hospice at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton with his loving family by his side. Born in Trenton, Mr. Krisak was a lifelong area resident and member of the NJ Army National Guard. He was employed by McGraw Hill, having retired as a manager after over 35 years of service. He was a parishioner of St. Gregory the Great RC Church as well as a member of their Knights of Columbus. Mr. Krisak coached CYO basketball at both St. Gregory the Great and St. Hedwig’s Churches. He was the past President of the Mercer County and Robbinsville School Boards and was active with the recreation commission, helping start baseball and basketball programs in Washington Twp. He was also involved with the Robbinsville Municipal Utility Authority. Mr. Krisak was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be deeply missed. Predeceased by his parents, Edward J., Sr. and Anna (Krysztofik) Krisak and his uncle, Monsignor Joseph Krysztofik; he is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Barbara A. (Zawatsky) Krisak; his five sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Chris, Gregory and Mary Ellen, David and Theresa, Brian and Jenn and Todd and Alison; his five granddaughters, Allison, Sarah, Kayla, Olivia and Katelyn; his special grandson, Justin; his three brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald and Tina, Richard and Eileen and Joseph; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and many cousins. Funeral services will begin on Friday, January 19, 2018, at 9:00 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great RC Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ. Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum in Hamilton, NJ. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home.
