EDWARD L. ISHMAEL, age 68, Cynthiana, died Monday, October 10, 2016 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. Born in Pendleton County, November 23, 1947 to the late Elmer Tulley and Nancy Ravencraft Ishmael, he retired from 3M Company after 38 years, was a United States Army Vietnam veteran, a member of Cynthiana Elks Lodge #438 and Quail Unlimited and was an instructor for the Hunter Safety Course. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda E. Ishmael; two brothers, Glen Ishmael and Sam Ishmael and two sisters, Joyce Fuller and Janet Parsons. He is survived by a son, Shane (Hannah) Ishmael, Cynthiana; a daughter, Amanda Ishmael, Cynthiana; two sisters, Charlotte (Charles) Angel, Ohio and Elaine (Dr. John) Bingham, Florida and four grandchildren, Donald "Trey' Ecklar III, Isabella Baker, Aiden Ishmael and Koltyn Ishmael. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Friday at Ware Funeral Home by Dr. Chad Broaddus. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. with an Elks service at 7:30 P.M. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to one's favorite charity.
