Edward was born on August 4, 1921 and passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018.

Edward was a resident of Algiers, Louisiana at the time of passing.

During World War II he served his country as a member of the United States Navy advancing to the rank of Chief Executive Chef. Deacon Lee was a charter member of the National WWII Museum.

Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Second Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; members of First District Baptist Association, Cornerstone General Baptist Association, Westside Baptist Association; employees of Circle Construction and the National WWII Museum are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Second Baptist Church, 2836 Sullen Place Algiers, LA on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Andre Sigler, officiating Viewing will be held from 8:00a.m.-9:50a.m. ONLY at the above named church.
