Edward passed away in June 2017.

Edward was a resident of West Roxbury, Massachusetts at the time of passing.

He is a graduate of Boston College, Class of 1952, and received his Masters and Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Boston University.

He also served in the U.S. Army.

Wednesday June 21, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in Holy Name Church, West Roxbury at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Dr. Clougherty's memory to: Boston Fire Department Relief Fund, 115 Southhampton Street, Boston, MA 02118 or Xaverian Brothers High School, 800 Clapboardtree St, Westwood, MA 02090.
