Eileen Parsons Kinder, 95, of Fayetteville, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley.



Born on September 1, 1920 at McKees Rock, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clinton Hilton Parsons and Farice Pearl Chambers Parsons.



Mrs. Kinder was a member of Fayetteville Baptist Church. She received her RN training at Laird Memorial School of Nursing in Montgomery. She worked as a registered nurse and supervisor at several area hospitals with 18 years of service at the Beckley Hospital.



In her spare time she loved reading and working in her flower gardens. Most of all she enjoyed God and family activities.



Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Kinder; and four brothers: George Earnest Parsons, John C. Parsons, James R. Parsons, and Robert J. Parsons.



Left to cherish many wonderful memories include her daughter: Nancy Elizabeth “Beth” Kemper and husband, Jon R. Kemper of Fayetteville; sons, Charles A. “Chuck” Kinder II and wife, Diane Cecily of Key Largo, FL, and David M. Kinder and wife, Rosaura S. Kinder of The Woodlands, TX; three grandchildren, Jon-Clay Kemper and wife, Dana Clark Kemper of Tampa, FL, Morgan Kemper Trent and husband, Michael Trent of Fayetteville, and Amy Elizabeth Kinder of The Woodlands, TX; two great-grandchildren: Jacob Lane Richards and Jon Alexander “Alex” Bair; one brother, Charles "Chuck"/"Teddy" Parsons and wife, Janice Brooks Parsons of Milton, WV; two beloved sisters-in-law, Emma Jean Parsons of Ansted, WV and Geneva Parson of Bel Air, MD; and many cherished nieces and nephews.



A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the Fayetteville Baptist Church with Pastor Ron George, Jr. and Randy Housh officiating. A private family interment service will follow at Restlawn Memory Gardens, Ansted.



The family will receive friends from 11 am to 12 noon on Saturday at the church.
